What Would Kate Buy at Banana Republic?

A few weeks ago, we wondered what Kate would buy at J. Crew, and now we’re checking out the great fashions at Banana Republic! Kate has reportedly worn Banana Republic before, and Pippa chose a Banana cardigan for one of the shoots for her book, Celebrate. So, what would Kate buy at Banana Republic? Let’s see…

Banana Republic loves a good repliKate – who could forget their Issa London collection a few years ago? Along with that, they have introduced quite a few pieces that Royal Watchers knew came right from the Duchess’ closet.

Kate has been loving her button down shirts (like the Gap boyfriend shirt, or that red plaid one from Zara), and Banana Republic has a few great styles and colors. Whether paired with wellies or a blazer, these are great everyday shirts that bring an outfit together.

Banana Republic cuts a really nice dress. For work or play, their classic silhouettes and styles are great wardrobe additions. We could see Kate choosing many of BR’s dresses for a royal event or date with Wills!

Shortly before the royal wedding, Kate reportedly purchased some ruffle trimmed cardigans from Banana Republic. In England, you need a sweater all year round – even in late April! Banana Republic has a wonderful assortment of cardigans, zip ups and pullovers. In both modern and trendy styles, its easy to pick up a few pieces for layering when the rain strikes.
