Now that Christine is engaged, I don’t just automatically delete the e-mails labelled “Brides! Calling Brides!” that appear in my inbox. I got one the other day for an event being held in London on October 2-4 called “Brides the Show” and had to share it with our readers because even if you’re not engaged, it could be a Kate fan’s cup of tea!
Brides the Show is put on by Conde Nast and features three things for Kate fans. Are you ready???
Kate Fan Item #1 : Jenny Packham’s 2016 New York Bridal Week “Midsummer’s Night Dream” runway show
It’s no secret Kate loves Jenny Packham (and we love her in it) but to see some of the designs walking down the runway? Heaven! Even if you’re not a bride, you can take a peek at the themes and trends for what we might expect Kate to wear in Jenny Packham’s designs for future?
Kate Fan Item #2 : A Talk from Kate & William’s Wedding Photographer
What was it like to photograph the most exciting wedding in modern history? Only Hugo Burnand would know! Hugo will have a beautiful exhibition at the show – maybe with an exclusive photograph of a certain couple?
Kate Fan Item #3 : Bobbi Brown Beauty Bar
Makeup artists will be on hand for tips, tricks and more. Here is how the show describes it: “Bobbi Brown epitomises bridal beauty, with over five thousand brides in the UK saying “I do” wearing Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Her team of professional Makeup Artists will take you step-by-step through the basics of bridal beauty, showing you how to achieve flawless looking skin and helping you to discover the colours and textures that are just right for you.” Five thousand brides – and Kate – can’t be wrong!
So Londoners, you interested in attending? We have a code for complimentary tickets – let us know and we can send it over to you!
And if you need a little help remembering the wedding of the century…
Wow! Planning a wedding is the best! I would go to this even though I’m already married! But I cannot get to London, sigh. This is the best time of your life! Can’t wait to see the final product, Christine!!!!
Thank you so much, Suzanne! I hope to share it with you! 🙂
If we are going to be forced to spend the next six months – a year listening to how Christine is engaged and planning a wedding, please let me know now so that I can follow literally any other blog that sticks to the point… which is Kate Middleton. This is the third post that has mentioned how the editor is engaged and planning a wedding.
Doesn’t she have another blog she can talk about this stuff on?
Hi Lydia,
I’m not sure why you felt the need to leave such an unnecessary, mean-spirited comment. We should all be more positive and supportive of eachother, especially during a happy and special time for a fellow woman, and the very woman who is responsible for this fabulous blog. Certainly no one forced you to read this article, so if the thought of it turned your stomach, why continue to read? You’re the only one who can choose what you spend your time on. Also, this blog has always been different from other Kate sites due to the very fact that it is not just about the news and what is going on with the Duchess herself, it is about how to live a lifestyle of someone we look up to. If you wanted strictly news, there plenty of other websites for that without having to bash this one in the process.
