To celebrate our third birthday, we are featuring five encore My Royal Closets! We previously met Ashley in April, and now she’s back to celebrate our birthday with five more fabulous royally-inspired pieces!
Meet Ashley: I am very excited to share some of my favorite ‘Kate’ items on WWKD. These are just some of the investment pieces that I value the most. Many of these pieces are classic wardrobe staples that will never go out of style which is why I treasure them so much. I am very excited to see what Kate will choose to wear this year. There are many new trends that she may embrace but as always, she keeps it elegant and sophisticated.
Stuart Weitzman Muse Clutch
This is my favorite clutch that I own. The color and soft suede is gorgeous and it matches well with many pieces in my wardrobe. To my surprise, SW sold this clutch in their stores this past spring for the very first time. Ever since Kate wore it, it was only available to purchase at Russell & Bromley. I was shocked to find it in store at my local SW.
Reiss Peacock Dress
This dress is very dear to me because it was my first ever “Kate” purchase. I called the Reiss store to order and they had no idea that Kate was wearing their dress. A rare find indeed, I thought Kate looked incredible in this dress with her Joseph jacket. I was never able to find her jacket to match but found a great alternative from the L’Agence brand.
Reiss Shola Dress
I went to my local Reiss store in NYC back in 2011 to buy this dress but it was sold out in my size. Thankfully, Reiss decided to reissue the dress so I gave them my info and they sent me my size in the mail a few weeks after Kate was seen wearing it. This dress has to be the most flattering I own from Reiss.
Alexander McQueen Coat
When Kate wore this coat she looked absolutely stunning and regal. The navy version I have is a lighter fabric and can be worn with navy or black accessories. The cut and style is timeless and I will forever cherish this coat.
LK Bennett Sliver Sandals
I absolutely adore these sandals. When I saw Kate wear them with her Jenny Packham dress, she looked so chic! I was able to find these at my local Bloomingdales, one of the last pairs back in 2011. These sandals are very comfortable and go with almost everything in my summer wardrobe.
