After spending their morning participating in World Mental Health Day, William and Kate spent their evening at Twickenham Stadium cheering on Team Wales at the Wales v. Australia match.
William is vice patron of the Welsh Rugby Union and is a fervent supporter of his team. While Harry, Mike, and Carole cheer for England (who have already been disqualified from the Cup), Kate stands by her man and supports Wales, too. They have attended quite a few matches together in the past, and will hopefully attend a few more before the tournament is over.
Sadly, Wales was defeated 15-6, but it was a very exciting game filled with very entertaining facial expression. Kate loves sport, and her passion is unmistakeable at these events. Despite the loss, Wales will play again on October 17 against South Africa.
These events are great for seeing the Duchess in more casual ensembles. To watch this evening’s match, Kate paired skinny jeans and a turtleneck jumper with her Aquatalia “Rhumba” boots, Tods “D-style” bag, and Reiss “Delaney” jacket. To show her team spirit, she accessorized with a dark red scarf. She also wore her new Kiki McDonough Lauren leaf earrings, which she wore earlier today. It is a more casual, repeated look – quite different from her ensemble at the Wales v. England match.
We love seeing William and Kate enjoying “date nights” together!
