The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s last day in Bhutan sparked not only great interest amongst the royal watcher community in adding Bhutan to future travel plans, but also great debate on the numerous items that made up the looks Kate wore today. Let’s break them down and see how Kate styled a mountainous hike and a gala reception, shall we?
Outfit #1 : A Mountain Hike Trek
William and Kate kicked off the day with a hike to Paro Taktsang and the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Kate looked every inch the outdoorsy Princess (N0 sweat! No red face!) for the duration of the 5 hour trek in comfortable pants, boots and a leather vest.
Blouse: Widely speculated to be the Jaeger Classic Linen Blouse
Pants: Unidentified skinny jeans, widely speculated to be from Zara
Earrings: Kiki McDonough Citrine Drops
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Wayfarers
While Kate was stopped along the trek, she did purchase a pair of earrings – perhaps something we will see in future engagements?
Outfit #2 : Bhutanese – British Gala Reception
For their last formal event in Bhutan, Will and Kate attended a reception in their hotel for British citizens in Bhutan. Kate wore a gorgeous poppy print dress – of note because the national flower of Bhutan is the poppy!
Dress: Beulah London Juliet
Earrings: Cassandra Goad Temple of Heaven
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s final tour stop before the couple head home – an iconic visit to the Taj Mahal. See you then!
