Halloween is only a few days away; is your costume ready? Over the years, we have come to love watching the creative, imaginative and frequently hilarious costumes that have popped up on our social media feeds featuring the royal family this time of year. We thought we would share a few of our favourites from years gone by in case you’re still looking for some ideas – and luckily for Kate fans, many of these might already be possible with pieces from your own closets.
Back in 2014, Jill shared a costume with the following caption: “Fascinator, (real) bump, baby, sick bag”. Looking every inch a Princess, we love the look that Jill pulled together highlighting her pregnancy and combining it with her sense of humour. Jill was also featured in a past My Royal Closet series of how Kate inspired her pregnancy look!
The gorgeous Jess of GoFugYourself went “Full Middleton” for Halloween a few years ago and this is definitely something that we can likely all pull out of our closets. Skinny jeans? Check. Striped shirt? Check. Navy blazer? Check. Wedges? Check.
Ema used an iconic Kate look to create her Halloween costume in 2015. She used her daughter to also add in a little Royal baby style.
Another iconic Kate Halloween costume comes courtesy our very own Christine – who modelled a Kate + baby look.
Are you modelling a Kate-inspired Halloween costume this year? We’d love to see it! Here are some pieces to inspire you in case you’re not quite ready yet…
