The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out at the Chelsea Flower Show earlier today with members of the royal family including the Queen and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
Kate’s green dress by Rochas, which featured a lovely floral print, was absolutely perfect for the occasion.
The Duchess paired this silk frock with her trusty L.K Bennett pumps.
She completed the look with emerald drop earrings and her long hair pulled back into a sophisticated ponytail.
The Chelsea Flower Show, held every year by the Royal Horticulture Society, is considered the world’s most prestigious flower show, inspiring millions through showcasing the best in garden design.
After receiving a tour of the grounds, Kate tried a garden tomato, and according to the Evening Standard, “After dropping [the tomato] on the decking, the down to earth princess was happy to pop it in her mouth and munch away.”
In their coverage of the event, the Evening Standard notes that Kate is just getting into gardening with her children, and the Cambridges currently have their own expansive garden at Anmer Hall, where they grow asparagus. The Duchess loves gardening and was thrilled to be at the flower show today.
