Kensington Palace released a press statement this morning announcing that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her third child!
The announcement came as quite a surprise to royal watcher after Kate unexpectedly cancelled an royal engagement at the last minute. Shortly after the cancellation announcement, the Palace released an official press statement.
If this pregnancy follows the patterns of the previous two, we can only assume that Catherine is around six weeks pregnant and the baby is due in April, although there is no official confirmation on her due date.
Unfortunately, Catherine is again suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a rare and severe condition that affects only about 1% of pregnant women. We may not see the Duchess for a few weeks as she tries to cope with the symptoms. To learn more about hyperemesis gravidarum, please visit https://www.pregnancysicknesssupport.org.uk
We are overjoyed by the news of the new royal baby, and look forward to sharing news and updates with our readers along the way!
