Recently, the Duchess debuted a pair of simple black boots, the kind of item which would be a fantastic wardrobe staple for anyone, from princess to PA. These Fallon Dry Chelsea boots are from Russell and Bromley, and currently retail for £295.00. The Duchess paired these with a pair of black jeans, a black roll-neck jumper, and a blue jacket from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.
First of all, I wanted to share some replikates for these shoes. On the top layer, left to right, we have: the Justine Double Zip Boots from Office (£85.00), Steve Madden Kyle Block Heeled Ankle Boots from John Lewis (£100) / Selfridges ($143) / Dune (£100) / Steve Madden ($129.95) / Nordstrom ($129.95), and Akron black boots from Rocket Dog (£65). On the bottom layer, from left to right, we have: Truffle Collection Side Zip Mid Heel Boots from ASOS (£26 / $42), Qupid Low Heel Boots from ASOS (£28 / $45), and Office Anita Heeled Ankle Boots from ASOS (£65 / $63.16).
Now, onto the style remix! First of all, some ideas that we think Kate would love. First of all, pairing these boots with a simple, Princess style coat seems like the perfect idea – check out this pretty Imelda coat from Boden in blue (and they also do a funky animal print version too!). Paired with this rich berry coloured fit and flare dress, also from Boden, it creates a perfectly-put-together outfit. We know Kate loves her Mulberry Bayswater clutch in black suede, but how about updating with this gorgeous Darley with an embroidered pattern, also from Mulberry?
As these boots are a fairly casual style, I thought it would be fun to select a series of fun slogan / novelty sweaters that you could wear in the upcoming colder months. Paired with black or blue jeans or leggings, these trendy pieces are great for lounging around at home or running errands, and there are even some great Christmas picks in there too! First off, Boden’s Crown jumper, Wildfox’s Beauty Pagent jumper, This Girl Loves Weekends from Next. The next layer features Wildfox’s Happiness is Expensive sweater, Next’s cream Fairisle knit, and this cute Joules Reindeer knit!
