The Great Kate Wait #3 is finally over!
Update 6:15pm BST: William and Catherine departed the Lindo Wing with the new HRH Prince of Cambridge. They returned home to Kensington Palace.
Update: 5:25pm BST: It has been confirmed that William and Catherine will depart the Lindo Wing with their new son this evening. They will exit on the iconic Lindo Wing steps around 6:15pm.
4:45pm BST: Prince William has brought Prince George and Princess Charlotte to meet their new baby brother!

Update: 2:35pm BST: The official announcement has been posted on an easel outside of Buckingham Palace. This tradition pre-dates Twitter, and has been used as a way of announcing royal babies since 1837.
11:15am BST: It’s a boy! The Duchess of Cambridge has successfully been delivered of a boy! Kensington Palace confirmed that the new Prince was born at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz, and the Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.
The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, into their prestigious Lindo Wing.
The Duchess of Cambridge arrived by car very early on the morning of April 23rd. At around 6:00 AM, the Duchess was admitted. Prince William was by her side.
If the past is anything to go by, we should hear about the new little one’s arrival any moment now. With the birth of Princess Charlotte, Kate arrived at the hospital around 6:00AM, Charlotte was born around 8:30AM, and Kensington Palace made the official announcement around 11:00AM.
